From Ysbrydoliaeth, the local gift and import store that brings a little bit of the world to you now comes our new language classes, so you can go out into the world and explore with confidence!

French
German
Japanese
Spanish
Welsh

We also offer online learning and in-person training solutions for businesses and organizations including on-site language classes tailored to your needs.

Our next term begins the week of June 2, 2025. Each course will run once a week for 90 minutes over 6 weeks.

Course Tuition: $325. There is no charge for materials – all textbooks will be OER (Open Educational Resource). Once you’ve registered for a course, you will be able to go the course payment page and download the material. You can use it on a tablet, laptop or even your phone, or you can drop by your favorite copy place and have them run a hard copy for you.

On-site courses take place in the Language Space in the store at 71 Eastern Ave., St. Johnsbury.

Courses currently on offer:

Beginner’s French – Mondays 6:00-7:30 pm 

Beginner’s Spanish – Thursdays 6:00-7:30 pm

Intermediate French (equivalent to third semester college language courses, or 3 years of High School) – Fridays 6:00-7:30 pm

Intermediate Spanish (equivalent to third semester college language courses, or 3 years of High School) – Fridays 10:00-11:30 am

Courses in German, Japanese and Welsh are also available. Just email us and let us know about your interest in these offerings!
